Kitchen Zones: Not Every Dink Should Be Played the Same Way

Most players at the kitchen line play every dink the same way. Ball comes over, they wait, they hit it. But where the ball lands in the kitchen should be changing how you respond to it every single time.

Front Half of the Kitchen

Let it bounce before you hit it. The ball is landing short and close to the net. Trying to volley it from that position puts you in an awkward spot and increases your error rate. Step in, let it bounce, and play it clean.
